Philosopheasy- I might have agreed with Brzezinski's diagnosis, but not his prescriptions.
He was right about the importance of oil and natural gas. That's the diagnosis. He was wrong (delusional) about bogging down Russia in Ukraine, which is a relic leftover from the Cold War and Afghanistan. (Those would be the prescriptions.)
Why would the US ever get bogged down in a "trap" set for the Soviets? (Afghanistan)
What was intended to destroy the USSR was also simply seen as an opportunity to launder funds through the taxpayers to the Military-Industrial Complex and the investor class. (It's lucrative.) It wasn't intended to destroy us. It's also an opportunity for us to practice and hone our skills in killing others. Practice makes perfect. This goes for Afghanistan, Iraq, and Ukraine.
Brzezinski wanted cooperation with China, but a destroyed Russia.
You see, this strategy simply doesn't work.
