Satan tempted Christ in the wilderness, testing His goodness and faithfulness.
He waited until Christ was at a low point (exhausted physically, mentally, and spiritually) to see if he could get Him to take the bait and get Him off of His path and purpose. Christ was rich enough to pass the test without compromising His values.
Matthew 12:1-8 is an example of Christ falling exactly when and where He should have.

When you are at the point of exhaustion, you are more liable to do things that you would not normally do when you are not exhausted.

High blood pressure, high cholesterol, and diabetes runs in my family.
At my last doctor visit, my cholesterol levels were a little bit high, and I'm also prediabetic. My blood pressure is fine.
I guess I won some kind of twisted genetic lottery, because two out of three is pretty bad.
I eat like a college student.
I am entirely too old for this.
Maybe some fruits and vegetables could help.
It couldn't hurt...
